        Collen’s talk certainly lived up to its title. What a great range of images, from the abstract to stunning photographs of insects.

          I thought that both the quality and content of Collens performance was very good. Yes, there were a few ers and umms, but a most enjoyable evening. I really did appreciate the inclusion of the camera setting that she used. But, I was sitting near the front, and thought that she could have projected her voice a little more. I think that the club should provide a microphone for all of the speakers.

            This was my first session at the club, and I thought it was very inspirational. I loved the fact that she was local and I actually recognised some of the places where she was took her photos. It’s lovely to see photos of hard to reach places but when you see stunning photos taken on your doorstep it makes me want to get out there and try myself! Thank you.
