I think Polina gave a very good talk which covered her inspirations but also her techniques and thought processes in creating images. She showed a great many images that were inspiring. I think we should invite her back in a year or so!

I thought she was excellent.   She had a lovely way of talking about the people and paintings that inspired her, and how  that translated into her work.   It’s the first time I’ve really seen the direct correlation between the inspiration and the photographing outcome.

Polina’s talk was excellent.  It is particularly nice that she shares information about her techniques and equipment used.  The still life and flower topics appeal to me and I have dabbled in both genres, unfortunately without results of this quality!  Polina’s talk (which I have heard aversion of at the RPS), is inspiring, especially with the winter weather upon us making studio work more attractive and less chance to indulge in outdoor photography.

Polina’s presentation was excellent. This genre appeals to me very much, in fact I would say just that presentation is worth my subscription fee to MSCC.

I liked her mix of humour, skill and genuine love of art and photography.  Please invite her back next year.

Thoroughly enjoyable talk by Polina.  Great to see the inspiration put into photographic practice.  Inspired, but not ready for that style of photography, just yet.  Would be more than happy to listen to her again.
