Probably one of the best speakers that I have heard, so far. Personally, I would like just a little more on setting and techniques, but I suppose that is what his workshops are for:-))
I really enjoy Robert’s talk. It was good to hear him explain which settings he used on the camera to get the shots. I give me an idea where to start to try and do something similar myself – obviously not to those standards and I’m not sure I’ve got the patience/stamina to sit out in a hide in 5 degrees! 🙂
A great evening and a great speaker. I thought the passion Robert has for his photography really came through and he talked a lot of sense. I would certainly like to hear him again some time.
I much enjoyed the talk by Robert, he certainly showed his passion and patience for getting his shots. I certainly wouldn’t have the discipline to restrict myself to one subject within a specified area or to wait 6 months to prepare for his birds of prey pics. One thing that did strike me as funny was that after all that patience and preparation he didn’t cut the long grass between the bait and the hide that would be in shot….
I too thought Robert was one of the best speakers, I’ve seen him before and never disappoints, engaged really well, very informative and leaving many inspired I’m sure…
Robert Canis proved to be a most impressive speaker. It was clear from his presentation that he was never complacent about his photography and demonstrated how he was always looking for new challenges as well as ways of developing a more creative style of photography. His impressive presentation displayed enthusiasm and passion for his work that kept our attention at all times.
