I have for sale a Hama Traveller Compact Pro tripod complete with ball head and quick release camera plate. It is aluminium, gun metal grey in colour with black abs / plastic quick release fittings which are lever operated. It has rubber domed feet which can also be spikes when the rubber feet are screwed clockwise on the metal spike screws. All feet rotate freely and the metal spikes show no signs of any corrosion.
The upper leg sections attached to the tripod head are fitted with foam rubber sleeves and they are fitted with rotating stops to allow the tripod to be used in a low spread leg configuration or more upright / normal configuration. The centre column is locked in place by an external threaded knob at the head and also by a friction sleeve fitted with a castellated rubber twist lock. This rubber sleeve shows some minor ageing with small cracks visible but it is not friable or brittle and is intact. Otherwise the tripod looks like new. The centre column is fitted with a hook at the lower end allowing a bag or similar to be hung to give greater rigidity to the tripod when in use.
The tripod is supplied with the original carry bag with strap. The bag is 56cm long x 12cm high x 8.5cm wide to fit the collapsed / folded tripod. The tripod is 1.35kg.
The tripod belonged to my father who recently passed away and I don’t think he used it after buying it some years ago. I don’t need it so it’s looking for a new home.
I’m only looking for £25 for it which I think is a fair price but I’m happy to consider any sensible offer. I think it would be great 1st tripod or even a good spare.
