Submit Images – Extra Images for External Competitions

Submit extra images for external competitions on PhotoEntry.
Message from Brian Dandridge:
As the Spring approaches it will soon be time for two external PDI Competitions. We will soon be selecting images for our entries for two external Inter-club PDI competitions: – Regnum Crouch, to be held at Rustington on Fri 4th April – we need to submit 8 images, all of which are less than three years old. (The judge will be Ann Healey who is judging our Nature comp.). Surrey Photographic Association, to be held at East Horsley on Sat 10th May – we need to submit 16 Open images and 8 Nature images (their Nature rule is very similar to our club Nature rule).
The main “source” from which we will select is the set of images entered in our 2023/24 competitions (last season); that keeps our lives simple! But it means that newer members won’t have many/any images in the pool; and the number of Nature images is limited, especially as at least one very good Nature photographer didn’t rejoin this season so we can’t use theirs!
So: if you have images that have not been entered in our competitions yet, especially if they satisfy the Nature definition, we would love to include them in the selection process this year. A slot in the PDI PhotoEntry system has been opened – a maximum of three images per member, usual image sizing please. We’ll be doing the selection towards the end of February, so the deadline for uploads is Monday 17th February. (For avoidance of doubt: images you submit for this process CAN be entered in our competitions in future, but we’ll have to keep our wits about us next year!) Thank you in anticipation.
