Brighton Pride Parade

Brighton Pride Parade will be taking place this year on August 3rd, starting from Hove Gardens at 11.00am. This years theme is “Joy”. Past experience has told me it’s impossible to take half decent images on the route through Brighton so I suggest we meet at the Lawns Cafe on Hove seafront at 9am to capture the participants as they ready themselves for the Parade as you get much better access and fewer people. The atmosphere is much more relaxed too.
The cafe is about halfway along the assembly area with toilets nearby. Parking should be easier at that time of morning too but be aware that on street parking is done by phone these days so check which system they use and have it pre installed on your phone to save time and frustration.
This event lends itself very well to those wishing to use their phones so feel free to come along.
Lets hope the weather is better than last year…..
